Greetings
Manuela Schwesig
Minister-President of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Dear athletes, dear guests,
a warm welcome to the 67th International Divers Day in Rostock! This event, rich in tradition, is a highlight in the sports calendar of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. I was delighted to assume the patronage once again.
From 13 to 16 March 2025, Rostock, our beautiful Hanseatic city on the Baltic Sea, once again opens its doors to top athletes from all over the world. With its first-class facilities, the Neptun indoor swimming pool provides the perfect stage for top performances in springboard and platform diving. In 2025 there will once again be a top-class international field of competitors from 15 countries. Something for all of us to look forward to!
The International Divers Day stands for much more than just sport. It shows how we can come together across borders and build bridges. This is especially important in these challenging times. These efforts deserve the utmost respect!
My special thanks go to the organisers and the many volunteers for the excellent preparation of this event. They all help Rostock and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to present themselves once again as open-minded hosts.
I wish all athletes every success and all guests a wonderful time!
Yours, Manuela Schwesig

Immerse yourself in top class – welcome to Rostock!
Dear athletes,
dear guests,
a warm welcome to Rostock for the 67th International Divers Day! For decades this event has been a fixture in the international competition calendar – and in 2025 the elite of diving will once again gather here in Rostock. The fact that the competitions have again been designated a “World Aquatics Diving Recognised Event” shows the high standard of this competition. We in Rostock are very proud of that!
We are of course especially pleased about the athletes of the Wasserspringerclub Rostock e.V., who regularly shine with strong performances. Their success shows that diving not only has a tradition here, but also a future.
Rostock is closely connected with the water – through its location on the Baltic Sea, the many leisure and water sports opportunities, and also competitive sport. The Neptun indoor swimming pool has been a centre of elite sport for decades and has brought many talents onto the big stage of international sport. The International Divers Day is therefore not only a sporting highlight, but also a symbol of Rostock’s vibrant water sports culture.
A big thank you goes to the organisers of the Rostocker Springertag e.V. and to all the volunteers whose commitment makes this event possible. I wish all athletes successful and fair competitions – and all of us exciting days with spectacular dives!
Kind regards
Eva-Maria Kröger

President of the Internationaler Springertag Rostock e. V.

Dear athletes, dear coaches, dear support staff, dear sponsors, supporters, officials and friends of springboard and platform diving, dear volunteers,
I warmly welcome you all to the 67th International Divers Day in Rostock, which is held as a “World Aquatics Diving Recognised Event”. It is a special honour for us to once again welcome our national and international guests to this long-standing traditional diving event and to offer them the opportunity for international competition.
This post-Olympic competition year is of particular importance for all national teams in preparation for the highlights of the year, the World Championships in Singapore and the World Cup competitions.
The IST Rostock e. V. offers the national teams a performance comparison at the highest level within World Aquatics.
This year we are once again holding our competitions according to the traditional competition programme (tournament system). We hope for exciting competitions and an atmosphere that encourages top performances.
Together with the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock, the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the sponsors and supporters of the event, the organising team has worked to create high-quality conditions for the Divers Day.
Our association would therefore like to expressly thank our long-standing main sponsors: Stadtwerke Rostock AG, Intersport Gü Sport GmbH and the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock. A big thank you also goes to all our long-standing and new sponsors and cooperation partners. On our website www.springertag-rostock.de you will find an alphabetical overview of all supporters under ‘Aktuelles/Sponsoren’.
In complicated times for society, we want this competition to contribute to international understanding and the peaceful coexistence of nations.
“Sport is a powerful means of building bridges, bringing people together and shaping peace,” said IOC President Dr Thomas Bach. With this in mind, I wish all participants good luck and success, victory to the best, exciting, attractive and fair competitions to the knowledgeable audience, satisfied guests to the organising team, and to all of us that we will remember the International Divers Day very fondly.
Lutz Buschkow
Chairman of the Internationaler Springertag e. V.
